Pachama (Ranganaiden) Gobindraj, also known as “Aunty Rena”, age 80, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Saturday, March 27, 2021 with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Manickum Gobindraj.
Pachama was born in Berbice, Guyana on January 24, 1941, daughter of the late Ranganaiden and Chinama Pachapen. Before her retirement, she worked as a parts inspector for Eagle Precision for 5 years. She was a devoted member of Shri Krishna Mandir.

Pachama leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Sundree “Suzy” Nazir, Serognie “Sero” Gobindraj, Latchmie “Sano” Gobindraj, Parwadie “Ano” Ramadhar, Sandrama “Sandra” Bissesar, Permaul “Jerry” Gobindraj, Venkatraghavan “Terry” Gobindraj all of Waterbury, 16 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She also leaves her siblings, Annasammy Ranganaden, Kupasammy Ranganaden, Ashook Ranganaden, Eilandum “Baba”, Wilima “Evelyn”, Munima “Chotie” and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements: Pachama’s funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT. Cremation services will immediately follow at the Brookside Memorial Crematory in Middlebury. Calling hours will be held on Monday evening from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
