Ruth (Stockman) Pickhardt, 83, of Terryville, wife of Ernest Jay Pickhardt passed away Monday March 15, 2021 at Bristol Hospital.

Ruth was born March 19, 1937 in Hartford, CT, daughter of the late Herman and Martha (Freimuth) Stockman. Prior to her retirement she was employed as a secretary for Meuler Enterprises of West Hartford. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Bristol, and member of the quilting club at the church.

In addition to her husband, Jay, she is survived by her son, David Pickhardt of Tolland MA; her daughter, Kelly Zelazo and her husband Matthew of Hardeeville, SC, her sister-in-law, Rozanna Stockman of Terryville, and her niece Sarah Figueroaof Terryville. She was predeceased by her brother, Richard Stockman.

Funeral services will be held 10 AM Saturday April 10, 2021 at Immanuel Lutheran Church Bristol. Calling hours at the church are from 9 AM to 10 AM. Burial will be in West Cemetery, Bristol. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 154 Meadow St., Bristol, CT 06010.
