Sandra Leasak Lee
BETHLEHEM, CT - Ms. Sandra Lee, 68 of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, June 24, 2021.
Sandra was born in Waterbury on August 4, 1952 daughter of the late John Jacob and Ines (Gasse) Leasak. She was a graduate of Waterbury Catholic High School and graduated Summa Cum Laude from St. Francis College in Maine where she earned her bachelor of science degree in education. She later returned to St. Francis College making the Dean’s List and earned her master’s degree in sociology. She taught at Memorial Middle School for 8 years, and taught for 25 years at Middlebury Elementary School retiring in 2006, and was a member of the Connecticut Education Association. Sandra was a spiritual and caring individual who enjoyed cooking, teaching, planting, and most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Sandra leaves to cherish her memory her children; Benjamin John Lee, his wife Amanda (Mitchell) Lee of Terryville, and Rebecca Caroline Lee of Waterbury; her grandchildren; Evan Xavier Lee, Casandra Ellen Lee, Pierre John Lee all of Waterbury, and Connor Lee of Terryville; and a host of friends and extended family.
Sandra’s family would like to sincerely thank the Seasons Hospice Team for the exceptional care that was provided to Sandra.

Arrangements: A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, July 2, 2021 from 4 to 6 pm at Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway – Waterbury, followed by a Prayer Service. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
