NAUGATUCK, CT - Thelma J. (Ayotte) Miller, age 96, of Naugatuck, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2021 at Beacon Brook Health Care Center. She was the beloved widow of Joseph A. Miller, Sr.

Thelma was born in Maine on May 28, 1924, a daughter of the late John and Edith (Cote) Ayotte and was educated in the Maine school system. She and her husband, Joe ran Miller’s Driving School for over 20 years before retiring in 1978. Previously, she worked for Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Florida. Thelma enjoyed cruising and tending to her beautiful flower garden.
Thelma leaves her son, Joseph A. Miller, Jr. and his wife, Nina of Waterbury, daughter, Donna E. Connelly and her husband, Arthur formerly of Roxbury, five grandchildren, Bryan Miller, Kelly Delaney, Arthur, Justin and Sean Connelly, two great grandchildren, Isabella Minacci and Jackson Delaney and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Winston and William Ayotte and sisters, Jacqueline Troiani, Orella Jenks and Avis King.

Arrangements: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 785 Highland Ave., Waterbury, CT. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT has been entrusted with Thelma’s arrangements.
