Mr. William A. “Bill” Winfrey, 61, of Beacon Falls, CT, died Saturday July 3, 2021 at Sharon Health Care Center in Sharon.
Bill was born on November 12, 1959 in Royal Oak, MI son of the late Richard and Elizabeth (Denny) Winfrey. He was raised in Trumbull and graduated from Trumbull High School Class of 1977. He was a skilled auto mechanic and most recently worked for Miller Nissan of Fairfield for ten years until being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 2017. Bill was an avid Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe enthusiast and enjoyed working on his cars and home improvement projects.

Bill leaves to honor and cherish his memory his partner of twenty plus years, Steve Heckelman of Torrington, his sister Sallie Winfrey and her husband Jack Vellios of Lakemoor, IL.
Arrangements: At the family’s request, all arrangements are private. Brookside Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home and Crematory 200 Benson Road Middlebury has been entrusted with Bill’s arrangements.
