WATERBURY, CT - Mr. Willie Thomas Daniels 87 departed this earthly life unexpectedly on Wednesday April 21, 2021. He was born on December 19, 1933 in Granville County (Oxford), North Carolina to the late Archie Daniels and Beaddie (Morton) Daniels. Mr. Daniels is survived by his children; Willie Scott Daniels (Patty), Vincent Wade Daniels Sr. (Estelle), Michael Scott Daniels, his daughter Beaddie Marie Daniels. 2 Sisters Marie Smith of Oxford, NC, and Ella Francis Fleming of East Orange, NJ. 1 Brother Elijah Daniels of Oxford, NC. 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Throughout the years he was an advent hunter and fisherman and enjoyed traveling to North Carolina to attend his class reunion yearly.

Mr. Willie Thomas was employed at Eastern Metal in Naugatuck, CT. as a Molder for over 40 years. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle cousin and friend to so many.

Pre-deceased by his wife Joan Ann Daniels, his son Karl James Daniels and his Granddaughter; Niani O’Brien.

Visitation will be 10am-11am Thursday April 29, 2021 with funeral service to follow at 11am at Colonial Funerals 270 West Main Street, Waterbury. James R. Sanders, funeral director is handling arrangements. All COVID-19 mandates will be honored mask must be required. Condolences may be expressed at Colonialfunerals.com.
