Officer's Conduct Investigated After Incident In Naugatuck: PD
In response to a video circulating on social media, Police Chief Steven Hunt has ordered an internal investigation into the incident.
NAUGATUCK, CT — Naugatuck Police Chief Steven Hunt has ordered an internal investigation into an incident involving a traffic stop on Monday.
In a video circulating on social media, a man accused a Naugatuck police officer of yelling at him and slamming him against his car after he parked in a plaza near Rubber Avenue. The man said he was given a ticket for $436 for driving the wrong way, interfering with a police officer and driving the wrong way in a one-way.
Police said Hunt ordered the internal investigation to determine the facts and circumstances of the incident.
