Travel to Paris with the Waterbury Chorale as we showcase the great French Romantic composers who were also famous organists and pedagogues at the turn of the 20th century.
Their organ compositions brought the organ repertoire to its greatest musical heights.
Our program highlights the mighty St. John’s Episcopal Church’s historic McManus pipe organ in Waterbury. You’ll learn about the history and nature of the organ (with its many types and sizes of pipes, and the myriad of musical textures and colors) so that you can understand why the organ is called “the King of all instruments.”
