Police: Naugatuck Man Punched Woman

Christopher Lawrence, 31, of Naugatuck, was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct on August 31 at approximately 6:35 p.m.

According to police, officers responded to a disturbance on Curtis Street in Naugatuck and discovered that during an argument Lawrence punched a woman in the head and pushed her to the floor.

Lawrence was released on $2,500 non-surety bond and was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on September 3.
