Naugatuck Police: Teen Arrested for Allegedly Driving Under the Influence

The 19-year-old is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, police say.

Naugatuck Police say they conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Salem Bridge on Saturday, Aug. 15.

Investigation led to the arrest of Jesie Rojas, 19, of Red Robin Road, police say.

He is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, police say.

Rojas is charged with operating under the influence of drugs/alcohol and traveling unreasonably fast/fast for conditions, police say.

He was released on a $2,500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 27, police say.
