Repair Work Underway At Naugatuck's Historic Tuttle House
The first phase of repairs and code updates is costing about $900,000 in grant money.

NAUGATUCK, CT — Workers are in the midst of repairing the 140-year-old roof at Naugatuck's historic Tuttle House, readying the house for new tenants later this year, reports the Waterbury Republican-American.
Come fall, the Naugatuck Historical Society and the Naugatuck Economic Development Corporation plan to move into the building, which previously housed the town's school district offices.
The first phase of repairs and code updates is costing about $900,000 in grant money. After that work is finished this summer, the historical society will seek funding for repairs and renovations for phase two, which will include work to the building's second floor.
