I-84 Fully Reopens In Waterbury: UPDATE
Expect massive delays on the way home tonight.
UPDATE: All lanes on I-84 have been reopened. Situation has been resolved, State Police said.

WATERBURY - I-84 Westbound CLOSED before Exit 18 because of Other (Police Activity). Reported Wednesday, August 7 at 4:37 pm.

WATERBURY - Other (Police Activity) on I-84 Eastbound at Exit 19. The 2 left lanes are closed. Reported Wednesday, August 7 at 4:49 pm.
The Republican-American reports that the highway is closed because a person was spotted on a bridge and may be attempting to jump.
