11 a.m. at the Naugatuck Historical Society: Colette’s Craft summer series for children and families.

9 p.m. See the Rubber City Blues Band at Slainte’s on New Haven Road. There is no cover charge.

Saturday 

Free backpack giveaway at the Cellular Connection (Verizon Wireless) at 1007 New Haven Road from noon to 2 p.m. Filled backpacks will be given to children and families.

Magic show at 1 p.m. with Chris Lengyel at the Naugatuck Historical Society

Sunday 

Farmer’s Market on the Town Green from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
