From Seven Angels: "It's Been One Year..."

7A will soon be announcing plans to celebrate their 30 + 1 Season.

Dear Friends of Seven Angels,

First and foremost, I hope this letter finds you and your loved ones safe and well.

One year ago our world changed. For Seven Angels that meant embarking on a year of tremendous uncertainty. It is not the way we thought we would be celebrating our 30th Anniversary season. In looking back, we are so grateful for your support, which made it possible for us to continue to exist.

In this unprecedented and uncertain year we worked diligently to continue to connect with all of you with creative and innovative programming through our virtual performances, and our collaborations with theatres and performers across the country. We will continue to do so until we can safely welcome you back through our doors.

One year later, I can hopefully say, we see light at the end of the tunnel. When you come back through the doors of the historical Hamilton Park Pavilion, you will see a refreshed and revitalized Seven Angels.

-Our renovated restrooms, made possible through the Woodward
Foundation and Rosa Construction, is exciting and welcomed.
-Our completed installation of our new seats begun in 2019, also
made possible through the generous Woodward Foundation
-Our freshly painted lobby
-Our re-imagined concession area
-Smiling, grateful faces (even if it’s still behind masks)

So many have suffered losses and setbacks. So many reached out to help. On behalf of my self, and the Board of Directors of Seven Angels, I thank the first responders and the health and essential workers who risk their own health and safety for all of us. I thank all of you who reach out and are able to help so many non-profit organizations in need. I thank our donors, our corporate and foundation sponsors, the State of CT (SBA and DECD Office of the Arts), Mayor Neil O’Leary and the City of Waterbury, the Waterbury Republican-American, Webster Bank and WATR 1320AM. I thank and I’m appreciative of our incredible staff, who rallied on behalf of Seven Angels with their loyalty, commitment and dedication. All is truly heartfelt and appreciated. You made a difference.

I have missed seeing all of you this past year, but as we rally to reopen, we will soon be announcing plans to celebrate our 30 + 1 Season.

Until I see you once again in our historical lobby, I say thank you and God Bless.

Stay safe, stay well.

Gratefully,

Semina De Laurentis
Artistic Managing Director
