This week is GIVE LOCAL. A year ago, at this time, COVID was devastating the world with a future that was scary and unknown. Your support through GIVE LOCAL was a lifeline to so many organizations. As we now gratefully see light at the end of the tunnel, we are reaching out to you once again for help and support.
We are closer every day to getting together once again to share our love of live theatre. Performing and laughing in a space filled with love and energy and song will hopefully be ours before too long. With sincere gratitude for all of the support we have received throughout this year - It was never truer that your support has kept us alive!
For the past 30 years Seven Angels has brought the joy of Professional, live Theatre to the Waterbury area. As the regions’ only professional producing, Actors’ Equity theatre we have presented the quality of entertainment that brings audience members back year after year.
But Seven Angels has never thought that was enough! That's why we created The High School Halo Awards, modeled after the Tony Awards. Loved by the students who participate, the Halo's showcase the talent of over 80 high schools all over the state. This will be the second year that we have conducted the Halo's virtually. We will not let students our kids miss this experience which has meant so much to them.
That’s why we developed educational programs for our youth. We are presently developing this years version of our Summer Theatre Program. With the help of Parent Surveys we are constructing the right combination of safe and enjoyable acting experiences - virtual, in-person or hybrid - to help our youth develop expression, confidence and self-esteem in the way that only live theatre can…by playing and having fun!
And, finally, that’s why we continue to provide countless opportunities for artistic expression for our local community though our high quality Community Theatre productions.
Please consider making a donation to our cause and be part of our mission to keep the arts alive and thriving in the Greater Waterbury area. Soon we will safely reopen our doors! Then, as soon as you can......…come see a show!!!
Come and be part of our 30 + One Season! Evenings and afternoons of laughter, tears and music are just ahead at the beautiful theatre in Waterbury's wonderful Hamilton Park…Seven Angels Theatre!
Gratefully,
Semina De Laurentis
