Shakespeare-a-thon to Celebrate Give Local

WATERBURY, CT - You're invited to Shakespeare-a-thon to celebrate Give Local, 2021. Shakesperience Productions, Inc. needs your help to amplify donations.

Shakesperience invites you to join them on Facebook and Zoom for 36 Hours of FREE programming during Give Local 2021. You can register to access all 36 hours of the interactive Zoom event.

During the 2020-21 quarantine, the theatre industry has been hit particularly hard. Shakesperience has had the good fortune to deliver programs virtually to lend as much normalcy, community, mental health, and much needed creativity to the students of our region as possible.

With the help of parents and teachers, young people from dozens of cities and towns have participated virtually in:
-Saturday and Summer Acting Classes
-Residency and after-school programs
-In-class workshops
and more!

Nevertheless, Shakesperience program revenue is down about 70% from pre-Covid times. They need your help to:
-hire and rehire theatre professionals
-put the school tour back on the road
-reopen our studio
-and perform Shakespeare in the Litchfield Hills, this August.

Please give as generously as you can, but there's no donation necessary to participate.
