Shakesperience Offers Free Programs

Students, parents, and teachers may get information and sign up for these FREE programs in two ways.

Waterbury, CT – In these times of pandemic, many people need information in short, simple sentences. Additionally, decreased income may be challenging for many. So Shakesperience is announcing FREE programs.

  • Saturday Acting Classes via Zoom begin March 13 for students aged 7-17 years.
  • In-class workshops are free and virtual for all grade levels in Ansonia, Derby, New Britain, Oxford, Seymour, Shelton, and Waterbury public schools for the duration of this school year.
  • Neighborhoods after-school program begins April 26 for Waterbury students aged 7-14 years.

Students, parents, and teachers may get information and sign up for these FREE programs in two ways. They can email Lisa at outreach@shakesperienceproductions.org. Or, they can call 203.754.2531 and clearly leave their name, email address, and which program. Shakesperience will email the information and necessary enrollment forms.

Shakesperience proudly offers these programs thanks, in part, to the generous support of the American Savings Foundation, Katharine Matthies Foundation, Community Foundation of Greater New Britain, City of Waterbury, Savings Bank of Danbury, Waterbury Police Activity League, and the DECD Office of the Arts.
