Shortage Of COVID-19 Vaccine Leads To Naugatuck Clinic Canceled
Fire officials said Naugatuck's clinic will reopen during the middle of next week.
NAUGATUCK, CT — Naugatuck fire officials released an update concerning the borough's vaccination clinic.
"Due to a shortage of vaccinations distributed to Waterbury Hospital our site will be closed today Friday 1/29, Monday 2/1 and Tuesday 2/2," officials said on social media. "We will honor all appointments that have been canceled on the days we are open next week. We plan to reopen on Wednesday 2/3. We understand that this can be very frustrating."
"Not receiving the amount of vaccines from the state that the VAMS site takes appointments for is out of both the clinic & Waterbury Hospitals control,"local officials said. "There is the option to change your appointment to another clinic through the VAMS site.
