State Representatives from Naugatuck and Oxford Raise Money for the Salvation Army
The lawmaker's efforts led to $10,000 being donated to the Salvation Army.
State Rep. Rosa C. Rebimbas, R-Naugatuck, and state Rep. David K. Labriola, R-Oxford, raised $5,194 for The Salvation Army outside Wal-Mart on New Haven Road, the Waterbury Republican-American reports.
Wal-Mart also agreed to match the dollar amount raised, the website reports.
