Backed by positive response, Samir's adventures are now available on Amazon Prime.

The tiny crew from tiny Luxembourg is as tough as the protagonist in their movie. SAWAH, the traveler, appeared in more than 100 film festivals and won dozens of prizes around the the globe including a US premier at the Austin Film Festival in 2019. Unfortunately, just like Samir's dream got shattered in the beginning of the film, the SAWAH crew's dreams of grand cinema releases over Europe from March 2020 got also altered by quite a bit by the pandemic. Eventually, the Luxembourg-based team was able to renounce with digital broadcasting deals with OSN (Middle East) or Netflix (Europe). Backed by positive response, Samir's adventures are now also available on Amazon Prime.

The sky is the limit for Samir but as DJ Skaarab, his dream to take part in the DJ World Championship in Brussels is shattered when he loses his passport and gets mistaken for a refugee on an unscheduled stop in Luxembourg. From there, things get wild for Samir, who is now stuck far from his loved ones in troubled Egypt. The merry mess unfolds as a comedy telling the story of his strange encounters and struggles on the hunt for his lost back pack. The search for his ID becomes the search for his identity.
