Vandalism Investigated At School In Naugatuck: Police

Playground equipment at Hop Brook School was vandalized over the weekend.

NAUGATUCK, CT — Police are asking for the public's help in finding whoever vandalized playground equipment at Hop Brook School on Crown Street in Naugatuck sometime over the weekend.

"This vandalism was reported by a citizen who utilizes this park regularly and had not seen this the prior day," Naugatuck police wrote on Facebook (see the post and photos below). The incident was reported on Sunday.

"This vandalism was found to be in the form of graffiti being written over most of the playscape."

Police are hoping that someone recognizes the phrases or style of the scrawled graffiti "to hopefully identify the individual or individuals responsible."
