Waterbury Symphony Orchestra 'Picnic & Pops'

Led by Music Director & Conductor, Leif Bjaland, the program will showcase hit music from Broadway shows.

presents Broadway is Back!

This event will be a family-friendly symphonic experience, and is the 31st concert in the WSO Picnic & Pops series, honoring a long tradition in Northwest Connecticut.

The concert takes place on Saturday, July 10 at 4 pm set against the backdrop of Woodbury’s beautiful Hollow Park.

Led by Music Director & Conductor, Leif Bjaland, the program will showcase hit music from Broadway shows such as Sound of Music, Mary Poppins, 42nd Street, and Kiss Me Kate, featuring some of Broadway’s most iconic hits.

Seating for this event is general admission, outdoor lawn seating.
Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and/or blankets.
Picnics are welcome! Don't forget the hand sanitizer and sunscreen!

Unvaccinated individuals will be encouraged to wear a mask.

Admission: Adults $25
Children Ages 12-17 $10
Children under 12 are free.

Lawn tickets can be purchased online until 2 pm the day of the concert. Tickets will also be available for purchase in-person at the gate beginning at 3 pm.
