Woman Stole $500 Worth Of Alcohol From Naugatuck Store: Police
The suspect used a fraudulent credit card in the scheme, according to Naugatuck police.
NAUGATUCK, CT — Naugatuck police are asking for the public's help in identifying a woman who used a fraudulent credit card to steal more than $500 worth of alcohol from Town Line Fine Wine & Liquor in Naugatuck this past March.
The scam occurred at the Prospect Street liquor store at about 4:30 p.m. on March 18, and police said the suspect may have left in a white Jeep Wrangler.
"The suspect is described as a black female with long black braided hair, approximately 5’5’’, 140 pounds, wearing a black jacket, and black pants," Naugatuck police wrote on the department's Facebook page.
