Woodland Jr. Hawks Football Wins State Championship
The 11U football team won the state championship on November 4.

The Woodland Junior Hawks 11U football team captured the Connecticut Youth Football and Cheer Conference (CTYFC) state championship on Sunday, November 4th at Kennedy Stadium in Bridgeport.
The Jr. Hawks triumphed over New Britain in overtime by a score of 24-18. The team had previously earned the top seed in their division during the regular season.
The football team include players from Naugatuck, Prospect, Beacon Falls and Waterbury.

The team coaches are Jason Pringle, Gregory Barksdale, Billy Evers, David Dugan and the team moms include Kari Reopelle and Erin Pringle.
