2 Men — 1 Armed — Arrested On Threatening Charges In Newtown: PD
One of the suspects is accused of "brandishing a firearm at an individual known to him," according to Newtown police.

NEWTOWN, CT — A Newtown man and a Danbury man were arrested on threatening and breach of peace charges last week after police said the two used an undescribed firearm to threaten another person.
Details of the incident were not disclosed, but no injuries appear to have been reported.
Arrested on charges of second-degree breach of peace and second-degree threatening was 35-year-old Justin Green, of Hawthorne Hill Road in Newtown, and 40-year-old Danbury resident Hector S. Veras, of 1st Street Extension, on the same charges and also second-degree stalking.

Both suspects were released on promises to appear in Danbury Superior Court on May 25.
