2021 - BSA Troop 270 Annual Christmas Tree Pickup
The Boy Scouts pick up trees at people's homes throughout Newtown and ask for a $10 donation to take it away.
This year as in years past, Newtown BSA Troop 270 will be picking up Christmas trees. This is an important fundraiser for the Troop as 100% of the funds go to the Scouts to pay for camping trips and other Scout activities. As with prior years, we will be providing trees to the Candlewood Valley Trout Unlimited association in support of a local conservation project.
We will be following all social distancing guidelines, and now accept PayPal and Credit Cards for contact free donations.
For a $10 donation we will come to your house and haul away your tree.
