Car Strikes Bear In Newtown
The bear entered the roadway and was struck by a car, police said.
NEWTOWN, CT — A bear was struck by a car Oct. 31 on South Main Street in Newtown, according to police.
The bear went in front of the car and was struck by the left side of the car. The bear left the area.
The operator wasn't injured and his car was driveable after the crash.
