Diana Reiff, Lifetime Newtown Resident, 72, Passed Away Peacefully

The lifelong Newtown woman was a florist at Stop & Shop.

NEWTOWN, CT — Diana Reiff, lifetime resident of Newtown, passed away peacefully in her home, Sunday, November 27, 2016. She was 72 years old. Diana was born December 23, 1943 in Danbury, CT. The daughter of John and Hazel Sedor. She was a florist at Stop & Shop; where her floral arrangements radiated almost as big as her personality.

Diana was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother.In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother John Jr. Diana is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Frank Reiff of Newtown. Her children Chris Reiff, Thomas Reiff and wife Wanda and Barbara Castle and husband Joseph. Her loving grandchildren, Jackie Henkel and Erika Rustico and fiancé Rich Dibble, as well as her youngest granddaughter Alicia DeLucrezia and husband Jonathon. Diana also leaves behind four great-grandchildren: Gavin, Giada, Jordan and soon-to-be great-granddaughter Charlotte, whom filled her heart with great joy and happiness. Her sister Lillian Emmons and husband Charles. Diana is also survived by a host of family friends who came to love and know her as Grams. There will be a memorial service at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Foods For Friends or The Multiple Sclerosis Society.
