Spring, a time of renewal and hope, brings a new shopping experience with an emphasis on sourcing from women-owned businesses and brands that offer a keen sense of style. Grand Opening Week begins on Tuesday, April 20.

“We’re working with a number of women-owned businesses for sourcing our merchandise. As a mother of three daughters and as a business woman myself, I believe in supporting, promoting and rewarding the strength and accomplishments of all women,” said Owner Valerie Fallon.

Indigo Jane Boutique’s philosophy is that shoppers prefer a warm and inviting space where they feel welcome and are encouraged to browse at their leisure. The boutique offers women’s casual clothing, gifts (including baby) and accessories, as well as small home décor items.

“There is a strong focus on jeans and we are working with several jean brands to bring customers a variety of styles, different fits and price ranges,” added Fallon. “Most importantly, we want to give our customer options to address many different body types, as well as individual tastes and budgets.”

Indigo Jane also brings a much-needed option to shopping online or at a large box store. “I believe shoppers still seek the pleasure of in-store shopping; the experience is different than 10 years ago when most shoppers took a trip to the closest mall to do their shopping,” noted Fallon. “Today’s shopper wants the convenience and personal touch in a smaller boutique setting. They expect the environment be inviting, the merchandise to be on-trend and extra perks like gift wrapping and themed events. All of this was taken into consideration while creating the concept for Indigo Jane.”

A Comfortable Shopping Experience
“As we open our doors each day and greet our customers, our most important goal is ensuring that each customer has an enjoyable experience. We will offer our help and suggestions to each customer if desired, but if a customer wants to browse on their own, we will give them the space to do so. We’re happy to offer gift suggestions, keep wish lists and learn more about each customer’s preferences through their purchases. We will also provide attractive bows, bags and tags for gifts. In summary, we only exist if our customers are happy and like what we have to offer,” added Fallon.
