Just a few days after we learned about a student's perfect ACT score, another Newtown High School student has performed flawlessly on an entrance exam.
Senior Slyuan (Don) Sun scored a perfect 2400 out of 2400 on the test, according to Principal Charles Dumais on the Newtown High School blog. The perfect score places Sur in the top 0.03% (that's not a typo) — of the more than 1.6 million students who took the SAT this year, only 494 got a perfect score.
SAT scores play an important role in the college selection process, so it's safe to say the perfect score will be a boon for Don's future.
