Mailboxes Struck By Vehicle, Newtown Police Search For Driver
The incident occurred on May 23 on Marlin Road in Sandy Hook.
NEWTOWN, CT — Police are asking for the public's help in finding the driver who struck a pair of mailboxes on Marlin Road in Sandy Hook on May 23 and drove away.
The incident occurred at about 11:30 p.m., and the two mailboxes that were struck were #38 and #40.
"An Audi A4 lower bumper fog light grille was left at the scene," Newtown police said.
