Man Hits Neighbor With Car During Dispute: Newtown Police
Police say they received several complaints from the neighbors, who share a driveway, against each other.
NEWTOWN, CT — A Sandy Hook man is accused of hitting his neighbor with a car during a dispute in their shared driveway, according to police. Newtown police received multiple complaints on May 17 from the neighbors, who live on Lakeview Terrace, regarding several accusations made against each other, according to officials.
At about 4 p.m., one of the neighbors was standing in the middle of the shared driveway in front of Allen Isabelle’s parked vehicle, according to police. Isabelle got into his vehicle and began driving up the driveway.
Police said the neighbor “refused to move from the middle of the driveway” so Isabelle tried to pass the neighbor in his vehicle. The neighbor was struck by Isabelle’s vehicle and was taken to the hospital for evaluation of reported injuries, according to police.
