Miss the Library? The VFW Is Also Offering Free Wi-Fi

As we're all craving our library fix, locals have produced a few options for places you can go to enjoy free wi-fi. The latest: VFW Post 308.

"The VFW is always open to the public," said post commander James Rebman. "Now more than ever, Newtown residents should know that they are welcome to come in at any time and use our Wi-Fi and facilities."

The VFW is open from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and also offers four large-screen TVs and a canteen with soft drinks and coffee.

Booth Library isn't expected to reopen for at least another six weeks, and the VFW is just one place residents can go. The Newtown Municipal Center is also offering free wifi and use of conference rooms, and the library has launched CHB@ETH, an Edmond Town Hall reference desk where patrons can get some of the same services they would receive at Booth's reference desk.
