Democrats are campaigning on a message of "balance" this year, hoping to put more blue in town offices.
So the candidates — incumbents and non-incumbents alike — gathered Sunday afternoon at Castle Hill Farm on Sugar Lane for an informal meet-and-greet. As kids played in the corn maze or enjoyed a hayride, Democrats pitched their message to voters.
The candidates, from left to right:
- Ross Carley, Legislative Council District 1
- James Filan, Board of Finance (Incumbent)
- Ann LoBosco Benore, Town Clerk
- Herb Rosenthal, Zoning Board of Appeals
- James Gaston, Selectman
- Daniel Honan, Legislative Council District 2
- Laura Main, Board of Education
- Paul Lundquist, Legislative Council District 1
- Michelle Embree Ku, Board of Education
- Thomas Dwyer, Legislative Council District 1
