A 21-year-old Newtown man is facing charges after allegedly threatening two other men, reports the News-Times.
Matthew Rospenda is accused of texting them that he was “packing a weapon” and was coming to meet them.

When police stopped Rospenda in Danbury, they found an unregistered Crossman .22-caliber pellet rifle in plain view in the back of the car.
He was charged with carrying a dangerous weapon, threatening, and breach of peace.
