Newtown Public Schools Closed Dec. 17

Roads are slippery after overnight sleet, freezing rain and snow hit the state.

NEWTOWN, CT — All Newtown Public Schools will be closed Tuesday, Dec. 17, due to the inclement weather that swept through Connecticut overnight, school officials announced.

The Central Office will open at 10 a.m., according to the school district’s website.
