Newtown Seeks To Fill Vacancy On Another Commission

Earlier this month, First Selectman Daniel Rosenthal announced the town was looking to fill openings on three other commissions.

NEWTOWN, CT — Newtown is looking to fill a vacancy on the town's Economic & Development Commission, the fourth commission vacancy First Selectman Daniel Rosenthal announced this month.

Only Democrats or unaffiliated voters are eligible to apply for the opening on the Economic & Development Commission, and resumes are due by July 9.

Earlier this month, Rosenthal announced the town was looking to fill seats on the Inland Wetland Commission, the Pension Committee, and the Fairfield Hills Authority. Only Republicans or unaffiliated voters are eligible for those positions.
