Newtown Wrestlers Win in Regional Competition

The 'Annual Beast Battle' was held in the Danbury P.A.L. Building.

NAEWTOWN, CT. —Beast Training Wrestling Academy won the Annual Beast Battle, beating top elite clubs in the Northeast. The CTWay team placed second and Shore Thing team placed thrd in the tournament.

The Annual Beast Battle was held at the Danbury P.A.L. Building, Nov. 3, with teams competing from New Jersey, Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut and New Hampshire. Wrestling clubs included; CTWay from Connecticut, Regional All-Star Team Shore Thing from New Jersey, Doughboys from Massachusetts, Savage from Long Island, Olympic from New Jersey, Smitty Barn from New Hampshire, GPS from New York and Beast Training Wrestling Academy from Connecticut. The range in weights was 52-150 lbs., for Elementary and Middle School Athletes.
