Newtown High School's wrestling team was in top form at the Fairfield Ludlowe Invitational in Fairfield Saturday, coming in first place with a total of 287 points, far ahead of hosts Ludlowe at 207. Principal Charles Dumais thanked coaches Bray and McKeever on his blog.
Newtown led the pack with five first-place finishers and seven finalists. The winners, courtesy of the Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference:
