A Newtown driver was arrested last Friday after police reportedly discovered marijuana in his car after a call from a concerned citizen.
Police say they got a call from an Apple Blossom Lane resident reporting an "erratic operator" who may have been involved in an accident. They reportedly found Scott Kellerman, 40, who was arrested at about 1:36 a.m. Kellerman was charged with Driving Under the Influence, possession of less than 4 ounces marijuana (along with paraphernalia), and making restricted and improper turns.
Kellerman was released on a $500 cash bond and will appear in court Oct. 24.
