Police: Thieves Vandalized, Stole Tools from Mathison Floors
Suspects broke into two trucks in the overnight hours, according to reports.

Police say they're looking for thieves who allegedly broke windows to steal flooring tools from trucks at Mathison Flooring Thursday night.
According to reports, the owner of the store at 133 South Main Street found two trucks had been broken into in the overnight hours. Windows were smashed out -- both from a truck in the front parking lot visible to South Main Street and a back parking lot visible to Peck Lane. Police said the suspects broke the windows to get access to a variety of flooring tools.
Police say they don't yet have estimates on the value of the stolen tools. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Newtown Police Department and refer to case 2013-14620.
