Graduation which normally would have been June 2020 instead took place November 1st, 2020 on the beautiful grounds of The 2nd Company Governor's Horse Guard in Newtown, CT.

Training usually consists of an 18-week long program in areas of military customs and courtesies, drill and ceremony, basic horsemanship, equitation and military leadership.

This class, along with their Instructors, 1SGT. Farina (Anthony), SSGT. Rosa (Flavio), SGT. Cypher (Bonnie), SGT. Burton (Samantha) and CPL. Chapman (Steven), showed exceptional determination and commitment as they weathered the lockdown restrictions and attended classes over Zoom to continue the training program. This year was the first in recent history where the recruits joined the rest of the troop at their Annual Training week held in Newtown and proved invaluable towards their continued learning and integration into the troop.
