Sal e Pepe Wins Multiple CT Magazine Awards
Sal e Pepe won several readers' choice awards for the best restaurants in Connecticut.
NEWTOWN, CT — Sal e Pepe restaurant in Newtown was awarded Connecticut Magazine's statewide runner-up annual readers' choice award for overall excellence.
The restaurant was also awarded the overall excellence award for Fairfield County and reader's choice award for best Italian restaurant statewide.
Sal e Pepe Contemporary Italian Bistro was established in 2005 and is located on South Main Street. It is owned by Angelo Marini, who previously owned What's Cooking? in Fairfield and ran the concession stand at Penfield Beach.
