Sandy Hook Student Named Gold Tassel Scholar at Sacred Heart

SANDY HOOK, CT — Sacred Heart Academy in Hamden has named Catherine Herrick from Sandy Hook as a 4.0 Gold Tassel Scholar.

The honor goes to graduating seniors who have held a cumulative four-year minimum average of 4.0 or higher. As tradition dictates, these students wore gold tassels at Commencement Exercises on Saturday, May 25 held in the Philip Paolella, Jr. Recreational Center at the Academy.

Herrick will be attending the University of Connecticut in the fall.
