Services Announced For 2 Newtown Residents Killed In Crash
Elliot Gregory, 20, and Philip Zuvanich, 19, were killed in a Newtown crash.
NEWTOWN, CT — Memorial services have been announced for two young Newtown men who were killed in a Newtown crash over the weekend.
There will be visitation hours at Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher & Son funeral home in Monroe June 28 from 3 to 7 p.m. for Elliot Gregory, 20, and Philip Zuvanich, 19. Gregory's funeral service will take place at 6:30 p.m., according to the funeral home's website.
At 2 a.m. Sunday, Newtown Police with the Newtown Ambulance Service and Sandy Hook Fire Department responded to Berkshire Road. (State Route 34) in the area of Jordan Hill Road to investigate the report of a motor vehicle accident.

Emergency responders found an older model Jeep Cherokee had driven off the westbound shoulder of Berkshire Road into a hundred foot, heavily wooded ravine, police said.
Two people were inside the vehicle. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
A roadside memorial has been set up near the crash scene, according to the News-Times.
