Storm Closings for Newtown Summer Programs
Here's what's closed on Thursday, June 28, due to the threat of storms
NEWTOWN, CT -- The town has issued a notification canceling the following programs on Thursday, June 28 in the interest of public safety given the threat of thunderstorms throughout the day:
- Day Camp at Treadwell and Dickinson.
- Swim Lessons
- WSIA course
- Eichler's Cove Beach will be closed
- The Day Camp Quassy Trip is re-scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, 6/29.
- Tennis Parents can contact coach, Jim, tomorrow regarding makeup, which they can do any one day in any other week of camp except July 9th
- Baseball Youth Academy/Middle School will be held inside at the High School Gym.
