Suspect in Newtown Car Robberies Arrested: Report
A New Milford man was arrested as a suspect in connection to car break-ins in Newtown, New Canaan, Darien and New York.
NEWTOWN, CT — Police arrested a New Milford man who they say might be connected to car break-ins in Newtown, New Canaan, Darien and New York state, according to report on the New Canaan News. Police said they were called to Waveny Park in New Canaan on Nov. 16 at approximately 4:05 p.m., due to a man who they said was attempting to enter parked cars, the report said.
Scott Palmenta, 45, of New Milford, was taken into custody and was released to Darien police on a promise to appear with a court date of Nov. 30.
