NYA No-School Tuesday: With school closed for election day, take the kids to NYA for open-court fun. Runs from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

EverWonder Playdates: Join play groups for EverWonder's first monthly playdate session. Starts 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Style with Pam Friedlander: The Hadassah of Greater Danbury/Newtown hosts this event with image consultant Pam Friedlander at C. H. Booth Library Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.

Connecticut Broadway Stage Company Fundraiser: Southbury-based Newbury Place is raising funds for Newtown's Connecticut Broadway Stage Company. 15% of all purchases will go to the performing arts center on Thursday.

Craft and Vendor Fair: Spend Friday evening checking out local crafts and vendors at Fraser Woods Montessori School. Starts Friday at 6:00 p.m.

Fraser Woods Montessori 5K: Walk or run at Fairfield Hills Saturday. Registration cost is $20 per participant, with kids under 5 free. Starts 8:15 a.m., with sign-up at 7:30 a.m.
