Fall is here, and it's going to be a great week in Newtown -- not just because of the Newtown Arts Festival, with events going on throughout the week. Here's a look at some other events in town today:

Audition for Veronica's Room: The Town Players' Little Theatre is holding open auditions for this thriller. Starts 7:30 p.m. Monday.

Wiffle Ball Tournament: Head to NYA for the Ed Randall All-Star Tournament, featuring multiple major league baseball stars. Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

Love Horses?: Hear Dr. Matt Elliott speak to horse owners and lovers at the Newtown Meeting House. Starts Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.

Sandy Hook Alpha: Join this religious meetup at the Iron Bridge to learn more about the teachings of Jesus. Starts Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.

NHS Wrestling Team Car Wash: Newtown wrestlers are raising money outside Berkshire Motors with a car wash to support the team. Get your car cleaned Saturday starting at 10:00 a.m.
