Tractor Trailer Fire Now Cleared On I-84, Delays Persist: UPDATE

UPDATE, 9 A.M.: The truck fire on I-84 eastbound between exits 9 and 10 in Newtown has been cleared. But there are delays stretching back for several miles due to the accident and road work in Danbury.
Here are the updated details:
DANBURY - I-84 Eastbound is congested between Exits 8 and 10 (6.7 miles) because of Road Work between Exits 9 and 10 (3.8 miles). Road Work in effect today until 3:30 pm. The right shoulder is closed.
